A beautiful little girl

I wish to give mum and dad (Tammy and Ben) a sneak preview of today’s family portraiture session.

I had a ball Tammy and Ben and wish to thank you heaps for letting me be a part of this journey.

I first took Tammy’s photo when she was 26 weeks pregnant, then we had another session with a few weeks left before she gave birth to the beautiful baby girl below.

Enjoy Ben and Tam.

Someone loves his little princess!

Doesn’t she look angelic!

Lucca

The headband being modelled by Lucca was made by Tammy herself.

For further information on Tammy’s creations and her other skills, please visit her Pretty Noggin group on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=121410924556428&ref=ts

Lucca does a wonderful job of modelling her mothers creation.

A plug or two + update

I just wanted to let my readers know that I’ve got a few other blogs happening.

I have started a project – which I’m thoroughly enjoying – of taking a macro photo every day.

The goal with this is to challenge how one sees the everyday items around our place or garden.

To check out the photos and see if you can work out what they are (ok – some are pretty obvious) go to http://www.themacroqueen.com

My other blog which I quite enjoy working on is called Macro 101

It’s where one goes to get ideas or to work out how to take a macro photo.

That address is http://www.macro101.com

Finally, ever wonder how the bump in Tammy turned out?

She’s a beautiful little girl and I have the privilege of taking her photo and some lovely family ones of mum and dad with their bundle of joy.

Take care everyone and

Happy snapping

Aude and Lucas

These photos were specially taken to send to Aude’s family in France.

Aude’s great uncle has been on this planet for 90 years and as the family can’t join in the various activities planned for this event, some photos will be sent over instead.

Firstly – Lucas

The Brewhouse

I just love food photography.

It’s a wonderful way to express creativity and when asked to photograph it, my heart skips a beat or two out of sheer excitement!

Food, for me, isn’t just about taste – it’s about presentation as well.

So, to be entrusted with the opportunity to present to others what good quality food will be presented to them on a plate is indeed a privilege.

Armed with my trusty 100mm f/2.8 macro lens I eagerly wonder what gastronomical delights the chef will cook and plate up.

Chicken Schnitzel

The above is a wonderful Chicken Schnitzel with potato and salad.

Rump with mushroom sauce

My favourite – Rump steak with mushroom sauce, chips and salad.

Surf and Turf

Some surf and turf. The prawns were lightly seasoned with some garlic.

The Brewhouse can be found at 601 Stanley Street Woolloongabba – right opposite the Mater Hospital, and is now under new management.

The plans that are being made for the future of the Brewhouse are quite exciting.

Stay tuned to this spot for the refurbishment photo session.
